Founded by Delandt Prinsloo, The Coffee Enthusiast was born from a genuine love of coffee, people, and community. Originally from South Africa, Delandt moved to Australia with his family in search of greater opportunity, safety, and a brighter future. Since arriving, he has been driven to make the most of everything Australia offers.

Midway through Year 12, Delandt began working at a local café, learning to make coffee on the job. What started as a casual role quickly became a passion — not just for crafting quality coffee, but for the conversations, connections, and stories shared across the counter. Outgoing by nature, he found inspiration in meeting new people and discovering how something as simple as coffee can bring individuals together.

The idea for The Coffee Enthusiast came one evening while brainstorming with his parents — a regular ritual in a household that values curiosity and growth. When the simple question, “Who wants coffee?” was asked, everything clicked. At just 18 years old, Delandt turned that moment into a business built on warmth, quality, and connection.

Today, The Coffee Enthusiast proudly partners with The Roasting Warehouse, a family-owned coffee supplier that shares the same values of craftsmanship and community. For Delandt, coffee is more than a drink — it’s a way to uplift, connect, and brighten someone’s day, even in the smallest way.
